Our services are offered on a complete flexible basis to suit the needs of your organisation, plugging any shortfalls in skills and/or resources over a temporary project period.  This means we can put in place a contract to provide the required consultant(s) from anything from 1 day through to a longer 3 month rolling contract.

Our initial consultation with you will result in the identification and joint recognition of the types of skills ERMS can provide to the project, resulting in a proposal of services and draft contract for review.  We will also ask for a signature on our Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or if you have one we can sign this, thus giving you peace of mind around confidentiality.

We have included some additional pages on our site detailing further some of our services and how they can be applied, however a general overview is set out below.

Business Processes and Systems Review - we can undertake either a partial or full review of your current business processes and supporting systems, identifying weak and painful areas, opportunities not yet exploited and recommendations for change.  This will result in both a written and presented report which can be used to present a business case for change back to your board of directors.

Systems Requirements Specification and Selection - the process of identifying the requirements of any new system and maintaining focus and scope can sometimes be a difficult task.  ERMS consultants have vast experience in providing overview system requirements which can be passed through to possible service providers for review.  ERMS can then help you move further through this process through the creation of RFI's (Request for Information) and ITT's (Invitation To Tender), acting as a catalyst between you (our client) and possible suppliers.  Our final offering in this process is through selection using detailed criteria scoring, references and site visits.

Project Management - whether required in the early stages of a potential project or throughout the whole project lifecycle we can offer qualified and experienced business project managers.  Our project managers are able to obtain the trust and confidence of the project sponsors and project teams, adept at dealing and communicating the business change which may result in a major systems implementation project, as well as either adapting to or bringing to the table a suitable project management methodology.

Business Improvement and Change - ERMS's main strengths lie in the re-shaping and re-engineering of business processes, bringing best practice, consistency and efficiency across all areas affected in a major systems implementation.  Working closely with the business we will help identify, document and implement changes to ensure the objectives of such a project are welcomed, met and recognised.

Data Migration and Configuration - One of the most daunting tasks when implementing an ERP system or changing your core business systems is dealing with your previous data which can be disjointed, non standard and prone to redundant data.  One of the last things you want to do is have poor quality data in the new system as the key benefits may not be realised.  Our consultants are able to work with both your organisation and chosen system provider in devising and actioning a data migration strategy to eliminate these potential risks.  In addition, ERMS can also provide data analysts who can assist in data cleansing and configuration of upload/import files.

Systems and End User Testing - Working in a phased and methodical manner we will assist the project team and systems provider in both the creation and execution of a testing plan.  Experience has shown us that success is dependent on "buy in" from the business in this critical phase of the project.  With an ERP system, testing will span across several areas which are all integrated, thus making this a crucial step prior to any changeover/go-live.

Strategy and Vision - Our previous involvement with clients has always been around key significant changes to the systems and processes as a result of business growth both organically and through acquisitions, and/or through the need of service/product improvement and cost reduction.  ERMS's involvement is therefore not around a systems implementation but around the creation of a stable platform and obtaining the capacity to grow easily without having to succumb to major overhead increases.  In other words we look at these system changes as major business projects and not another IT project.  We can help align the systems strategy against the business strategy, creating a deliverable road map to the business as a whole.
